Recipes

Recipes that I have found, inherited, or created. Nothing terribly difficult, as I try to avoid making anything that includes more than 4 or 5 ingredients. You may also notice that these recipes rely heavily on a Crockpot. That’s because Crockpots are so easy to use, just set it, go to work, come home to a meal.

Cheesy Bread!!!!

If you’ve ever eaten at a Claim Jumper restaurant, there’s a good chance you’ve tried their Garlic Cheese Toast appetizer, commonly referred to among my friends as “Cheesy Bread.” The stuff is amazing and delicious, and I tend to order a platter as an appetizer, a few more pieces with dinner, and then a platter [...]

Easy Beef Stew

A really easy beef stew, adapted from a pot roast recipe and meant to be cooked in a crock pot. This fills my 6qt crock pot, so if you have a 4qt you’ll probably need to cut the recipe in half.
3-4 lbs beef stew meat, cut into 1 in pieces (or pre-cut stew meat from [...]

Herb Garlic Chicken

This was a “recipe” that a friend of mine who’s a chef made for me. She had come over to visit, and neither of us wanted to cook something, but we didn’t want fast food, either. So we went to the store, found a bottle of seasoning sauce, and a pack of chicken, and tossed [...]

8 oz Brick Cream Cheese1/2 c Mayonnaise1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce1 tsp Garlic Powder1 can clams1Tbsp clam juice
