Today started with an early meeting, and ended with yet another shift on the help desk phones. So I took an extra long lunch break, and wandered around Seattle for an hour or so.

Last week I wrote about the lighbox I was building with a cardboard box and 2 500w halogen lights. Pretty much everyone’s first comment when I mentioned this to friends was “try not to burn the house down.”

The last few days have seen some crazy insane weather. Sunny and cold, sunny and warm, rainy and cold, snow then rain then hail then rain. And lots more rain.
At least the weather has been a great excuse to curl up in the comfy chair by the window and read for hours.

And I made the mistake of walking along the water without a hat. It was very, very cold. But I wanted one last trip with my trusty little 28-105 lens, before the beautiful fancy new 24-105mm L-series lens shows up tomorrow.
