A few months ago, Max lost his favorite cat toy, which was also the only one he bothered to play with. Since he promptly commenced pestering me to play with him, I promptly commenced the search for a new toy he would play with. After spending around $40 on all kinds of fancy (and not-so-fancy) cat toys that he didn’t bother to touch, I finally found something that met his approval:
A plastic shower curtain ring. The kind that are $1.50 for a 12-pack. Well, at least it will be easy to replace when he loses one under the sofa, or the TV stand, or in the Recycle bin – the most likely fate of his previous toy.
He likes to bat them around the apartment
