The Old Thorp Mill
At the end of my vacation, I had a chance to get into the historic Thorp Grist Mill with my camera and take some pictures. Most of the equipment from the 1800s is still in the mill, obviously not working anymore, but still in pretty good shape. I have to admit the place is a little creepy when you’re wandering around alone, but a neat place to explore nonetheless. On with the pictures!
Standing on the grounds, looking up at the mill:
These photos were taken in color, then converted to black & white as it seemed more appropriate for the subject. Miscellaneous mill equipment:
Still working my way through the rest of my vacation photos, and hoping work gets back into a semi-normal routine so I have time to do interesting things worth writing about again.

the b/w is definitely appropriate to the subject, and somehow slightly more creepy perhaps? i really like the one of the outside, the angle is great. I have never visited the Thorp mill. Something else to add to my list of things to do in WA when i get back there again.
