While I’m sure most people spent this weekend out in the sun barbecuing and setting off fireworks, I took advantage of the long weekend to do some long overdue cleaning. Between the fish tank moving project, 2 weeks of vacation and the un-unpacking that resulted, and my general habit of accumulating “stuff” my room had become more of a disaster than usual.
Before cleaning pictures, taken Friday morning and not for the faint of heart:
I spent Friday and Saturday digging out, re-organizing, cleaning, recycling, donating, vacuuming, and dusting (yes, I actually DUSTED SURFACES.) By Saturday night, the room looked like this:
Turns out, there was actual carpet under all that stuff.
I think I have seen it worse. I think *shudders*
