I admit, I’m a lazy cook. I don’t like long prep times, involved processes, or too many ingredients. But I’m pretty sure I’ve hit an all-time low with these Cheddar “Mashed Potatoes.”
You’ll need:
- 1 package Betty Crocker 80 Calorie Sour Cream and Cheddar Mashed Potato Mix
- about 1/8 c shredded cheddar cheese, maybe a little more
- 1 1/2 cup hot water
- a bowl
- a microwave
Mix the package of potato mix with 1 1/2 cup of hot water in a microwave-safe bowl. Cover. Microwave for 1 1/2 minutes. Add the cheddar cheese to the potato mix, and stir well. Microwave for one additional minute. That’s it, you’re done!
I told you I’d hit a new low, didn’t I?
Well, you DID take the extra effort to add real cheese to the already cheese-flavored potatoes. I think it would have been rock bottom had you simply mixed the mix and called it “cheese potatoes”.
But this still comes pretty close
let’s just say she is sitting on top of the rock instead of crawling underneath it.
