It’s Sunday, and I should be out enjoying the sunshine, but it’s too bright out there. I should be cleaning, since I’m not outside, but I don’t feel like it. So here’s a few more pictures since I’m bored.

A few years ago, I was inspired to create a small raised garden outside my patio door. I raided Mom’s greenhouse, and ended up with Tiger Lilies, Day Lilies, a lavender plant, and some Vinca Minor (aka Periwinkle) to use as ground cover. Around here, I might make the decisions, but they have to be voted on by the committee. So when I got a new blanket for the back of the couch last week, it was inspected immediately. Fortunately, it passed:
Today, I put a new sheet over the ugly recliner by the window. It’s a very comfy [...]

Last weekend was a typical cold and rainy Seattle weekend. So I spent some time getting the rest of my Blu-ray movies moved onto my media server for easy watching. Then I spent some more time hunting down movie posters to use in the list of movies that shows up on my media PC, because [...]

And if I’m REALLY luck, I’ll finally get the comments form working on the front page again. [...]

This week, I have finished a darkbox:
Which is just an LED desk lamp pointed into a black fabric [...]

The last few days have seen some crazy insane weather. Sunny and cold, sunny and warm, rainy and cold, snow then rain then hail then rain. And lots more rain.
At least the weather has been a great excuse to curl up in the comfy chair by the window and read for hours.
I had been [...]

I’m really, really, really tired of the cold. Where the heck is spring already? It looks like a beautiful sunny day today, until you step outside and turn into a popsicle. Just like yesterday. Sun should mean WARMTH darn it!

And I made the mistake of walking along the water without a hat. It was very, very cold. But I wanted one last trip with my trusty little 28-105 lens, before the beautiful fancy new 24-105mm L-series lens shows up tomorrow.
A few last hurrahs

The sun was out and it was almost warm today, so I left work a little early, got my camera, and went for a walk at Seahurst Park.
Somebody built a pile of sticks on the beach:
