Change is here
Change is good. Change and a couple bucks will buy you a cup of “coffee” at Starbucks. But after the last few years, I think it’s time for change.
Even more than change, I think hope is good. And right now, I think the biggest thing to come out of todays inaguration is hope. I’m not big on politics, and I’m a bit of a cynic, so I usually vote for the guy who annoys me least, and don’t expect any campaign promises to be kept.
But I watched President Obama be sworn in today, and speak about his goals for the next 4 years. And I found myself hoping that he is right, that he means what he says, and that he might actually do some of what he says he will. Only time will tell the truth, but in the meantime, his vision can bring hope and change to our country, and we sure need both right now.
Well said. Dad, Ti and I watched together and have the same hopes.
