mmmmmmm, Pizza
Hooray for pizza delivery. After a really brutal weekend spent working with the network admins to help move the data center at work (a solid 24 hour long shift) yesterday was an all-hands-on-the-phones day for the Help Desk. Which turned out to do absolutely no good, since our network service provider screwed up, and we had no service, and therefore no way to know what little pieces of broken-ness we missed in the move. So today was another all-hands day. And it has not been fun finding those pieces, because people are not happy when their computers don’t connect to anything, so they spend lots of time calling the Help Desk asking when things will work again. Then I found out I have to stay late (after starting work at 6:30am) to bring one more system online that is going to result in lots of re-booted workstations. I don’t really mind staying late, but I really mind that I didn’t bring lunch, planning to just have a snack and then leave a little early. So now, I have no lunch and no dinner.
At least until the pizza delivery guy shows up in 15 minutes.
