Closet space
A few weeks ago, I got tired of the lack of space, not to mention the lack of hangers, in my closet. So I spent an afternoon cleaning out the closet and the dresser. I was not terribly surprised to discover things like 3 pairs of pants that haven’t fit in 10 years, and anywhere from 3 to 5 shirts in the same color but different styles. Or, different colors in the same style, for that matter, and that had shrunk after so many trips through the dryer that they were only good for pajamas. All told, I donated three large garbage bags full of clothes, then went shopping. Keeping in mind the things I had gotten rid of, and the things I kept, I paid careful attention to what I bought.
So imagine my surprise tonight when, after putting away the laundry from this weekend, I look in my closet and see four (yes, I said 4) short-sleeved dark blue shirts in varying styles.
