Meglet Rambles On

Seriously, what the hell is up with Ebay? I hardly ever use it, because I can find what I’m looking for in places with a lower signal-to-noise ration. But I have some fishtanks that I replaced, and need to sell. They didn’t generate any interest on Craigslist, so I thought I’d throw them on Ebay as a local pickup, cash only sale. Except Fleabay won’t LET me select cash only. I can choose local pickup, but since I’ve never sold they are forcing me to accept Paypal as my only payment choice. And when I finally decided to accept that, the stupid site tells me that before I can list my item, they have to CALL ME ON THE PHONE to verify my identity. What the hell??!! I mean, I’ve had this account for YEARS, I’ve bought stuff, I’ve never had a single fraudulent transaction, and now they won’t let me list something without calling me? That and the fact that they intend to charge for my listing whether the tanks sell or not made my decision for me.

Go to hell, Ebay. I’ll put the tanks back on Craigslist, and take them to Goodwill for free if they don’t sell, before I give you my business.
