I think I sunburned my eyeballs
Summer has finally arrived in Seattle. Unfortunately, I have been stuck at work and running errands and doing stuff that has prevented me from enjoying it. Yesterday I was hoping to be off work at 4:30, and I was headed back to Kubota Gardens for a nice evening stroll. I actually did leave at 4:30, but then I got called back to the office. Twice. Because Qwest, who provides our connection to the internet and our satellite clinics, had done something to break those connections, and the new guy was all by himself on the phones. I ended up leaving the office at 8:30pm.
So after my massage today, I went down to Kubota Gardens with my camera. I remembered to wear a tank top, so I could at least get a little bit of color. And I took water with me. And I put on sunscreen. But in the end, it was so hot and sunny that I’m pretty sure I sunburned my eyeballs.
So now I’m going to go relax, eat some lunch, and process the pictures I took at the gardens. And spend as much of the rest of the weekend as possible in my dim, air conditioned house.
