Herb Garlic Chicken
This was a “recipe” that a friend of mine who’s a chef made for me. She had come over to visit, and neither of us wanted to cook something, but we didn’t want fast food, either. So we went to the store, found a bottle of seasoning sauce, and a pack of chicken, and tossed it in a frying pan. I made it again for my dad a few weeks later, and now if I haven’t made this in a few weeks he starts asking when I’m going to make it again.
1 bottle Lawry’s Herb & Garlic Marinade
1 package boneless, skinless chicken breasts-6-8 pieces
Marinate the chicken for as long as you can-overnight is best, but 20 minutes works too if you haven’t planned ahead. Warm a large frying pan on medium for a minute or so. Put the chicken in the frying pan, dump the marinade sauce over it. Cook on medium until the chicken is done, turning it over a couple times. 6 large pieces usually take about 30 minutes on my gas stove. Serve with rice and veggies or salad.
This can be made with any marinade sauce you like, although the Herb & Garlic one is my favorite, and if you’re not as picky as me you could probably use any cut of chicken, too.
